Hawk DTC-70 je bolj agresiven od DTC-60, a ima enak temperaturni razpon. Mnogi dirkaški navdušenci Corvettov, Mustangov, Porschev, BMW-jev in drugih specialnih dirkačev izbirajo DTC-70 spredaj in DTC-60 zadaj. To je res zmagovalna dirkačka rešitev sama po sebi ali kot split friction kombinacija z DTC-60.
